Buzzing Around

I always grew up saying “someday I’m going to be somebody”.

So here I am.

At twenty-two the world seems so large for a little Bee.

I am graduating college in just five short weeks.

I know what you’re thinking… So then what?

Who are you?

What are you?

Did you actually become somebody?

The fact of the matter is that to most of you I am just some random person on a blog, an abstraction.

Who am I?

I am a lot of things, but first let’s start with my name. I’m Brittany, but friends call me Bee.

What am I?

First and foremost, I am a human being. Aren’t you relieved? I would like to think that makes me less abstract, but sadly I am one of billions of people in this world. So it will be my duty to make sure that you remember me.

So did I become somebody?

I suppose to some people I have.

I am a coworker, a friend, a daughter, a sister, and in many cases an acquaintance. My goal is to become someone to you, but let me warn you…”normal” is not in my list of descriptors.

Get inside my head and let’s go on an adventure.
